Lynch Syndrome UK held their fourth annual conference at Aston University, Birmingham on Saturday 21st April 2018.

John Burn gave a talk to the conference about 'How aspirin cuts Lynch syndrome cancers' with an update on the CaPP3 trial. Gill Borthwick, from the CaPP3 study team was delighted to meet Mia Linden who had travelled from Helsinki, Finland to attend the conference. Mia is taking part in the CaPP3 Finland trial and is also setting up a Lynch Syndrome Patient Group in Finland.

    In March 2020 there were reports which indicated a possible link with taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which include ibuprofen and aspirin, and the severity of Covid-19.
